Not only are we preparing to perform Shakespeare, students in both 7th and 8th grade are bringing their scenes to life through comic strips. Students may draw on their own or use the program storyboardthat.com/classroom to do a comic strip electronically. To join a class you will need a code. Here are the codes:
305/8th/Blue: wide3316
309/8th/Red: come12.
307/7th/Green: square631
308/7th/Orange: numbers11
I am looking forward to seeing what they produce. We will devote a lot of our time over the next 2 weeks preparing to perform - rehearsing, designing props and costumes and really having fun! Students will be assessed on their comics, their practicing and their final performances. In addition, we will be completing TWO more units of word study. I will be reviewing Accelerated Reader goals with all students before the winter break. Please be sure students are reading every night for at least 30 minutes.
